“Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall honour and glorify Me.” Psalm 50:15 [AMP]
When my daughter was 4 years old I heard her crying in her room. I called out to her a couple of times to ask why she was crying but didn’t get a response, just more tears. Finally, I went over only to see that her drawer would not fit back in.
There she was standing in exasperation thinking she had broken it, and in many failed attempts to fix it, came the wailing. Now that I was there to see her struggling, I told her calmly, “You could have just come to me and said, mum, I think my drawer is broken and I would have fixed it.” (Well, that was what I eventually did!)
I’m almost certain a lot of people can relate to this scenario because even as adults we try to take the reins thinking ‘we’ve got this’, without considering to ask God, who is our Father for help.
Reflect today on how many times you try to fix things on your own without calling out to God for help. Our Heavenly Father is just waiting for us to reach out to Him. Be encouraged! He can fix it if you call on Him, run to Him and cry out to Him. He is able.

Lord, here is a list of things that are broken in my life right now which I desire that You help fix because You are able to handle every single one of them.
